Estonian Aviation Academy Conducts Drone Instructor Training The Estonian Aviation Academy is conducting a series of practical training sessions in April to prepare instructors for a new drone training course. The training, organized in partnership with the Defense Resources Agency, will equip instructors with the skills and experience needed to guide students participating in the course. Two training days are scheduled. The first took place on April 11th, and a second session is planned for tomorrow at the Aviation Museum. These sessions are designed as sample training days, allowing instructors to gain hands-on experience directly relevant to the “Operating an Unmanned Aircraft” course. This elective course, now offered since this academic year by the Defense Resources Agency and the Estonian Aviation Academy, focuses on the operation of unmanned aircraft. The training sessions are a key component of the course’s implementation. The initiative reflects a growing interest in aviation and unmanned systems within the Estonian education sector. Participants will receive instruction and practical experience as part of this vital training program. Further details regarding the course and training schedule are available through the Estonian Aviation Academy.
