Young Rally Driver Vaher Earns Top Test Results in Portugal

Jaspar Vaher, a rising talent within the Toyota rally team’s youth program, competed in his inaugural gravel rally event this weekend at the Rali Terras d’Aboboreiral in Portugal. Vaher piloted a Toyota Yaris Rally2 car throughout the competition, marking a significant step in his development. During the rally, Vaher successfully completed eight of the event’s timed special stages, demonstrating strong performance and adaptability.

However, despite his impressive results in the tests, he ultimately finished eleventh overall. Time penalties accumulated during the rally contributed to the final result. The Rali Terras d’Aboboreiral presented a challenging gravel course, testing the skills of drivers across the field.

Vaher’s participation highlights the Toyota team’s commitment to nurturing young drivers and providing opportunities within the rally motorsport scene. This marked a key milestone for the Kadrina-based driver as he continues to gain experience in competitive rally events. The event underscored Vaher’s potential and his ability to perform well within the Toyota rally program.

Further development and consistent performance are expected as he progresses within the team.
