EISi uueks juhiks Brüsselis on Kristel Oitmaa

Kristel Oitmaa has been appointed to lead the Estonian representation in Brussels, taking over the role from Majandus-Minister Majandus. Her primary responsibility will be to support Estonian businesses within the European Union’s research and development sector. Oitmaa began her work in Brussels at the start of April.

She brings extensive experience in advising companies on securing funding for both domestic and international research and development initiatives. Her professional background includes roles at the Estonian Employment Agency, completing a diploma in London, and serving as the representative of the Estonian Research Agency in Brussels. The appointment underscores a focus on enhancing the participation of Estonian enterprises in major EU funding programs.

Through her expertise, Kristel Oitmaa will guide Estonian businesses through the complex processes of EU science and development funding.
