Renna Unt, representing Estonia, was re-elected to the board of the European Indoor Volleyball Federation (CEV) during the federation’s annual general meeting in Horsens, Denmark, held at the end of last week. The election took place alongside the World Indoor Volleyball Federation’s general meeting. Unt was elected as a board member representing the Estonian Volleyball Federation. The board comprises twelve members, making Unt the sole representative from the Nordic and Baltic region. During the election process, the Estonian candidate received the largest number of votes from the member nations. This marks Unt’s second term on the board of the European Indoor Volleyball Federation. In her previous term, she served as the head of the competition committee, responsible for the area of competitions. Furthermore, the World Indoor Volleyball Federation passed a resolution during its annual general meeting. These developments confirm Renna Unt’s continued involvement in the governance of sulgpalliliidu affairs, solidifying Eesti’s presence within the Euroopa structure.
