Sappers and emergency services responded to an incident at the Narva border crossing on March 23, 2023, at 14:10. A suspicious object resembling an explosive device was discovered in a Lux Express bus. According to Elizaveta Belous, press secretary of the Police and Border Guard Board, the object was found around 9:00 a.m. at the border crossing in Narva. The bus’s owner could not be identified.
