A group of kayakers off the coast of San Diego, USA, discovered a rare fish – the king of herrings. The fish, scientifically known as Regalecus glesne, was found during snorkeling activity. Sightings of this deep-sea fish in California are exceptionally uncommon, with only 20 recorded instances since 1901.
