Max Verstappen will face a starting grid penalty of five positions ahead of the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday. The penalty was issued due to Red Bull’s replacement of an engine part on Verstappen’s car. Sergio Perez, Verstappen’s teammate, also received a ten-place penalty for an engine change related to a safety belt incident during the Dutch Grand Prix.

Yuki Tsunoda of AlphaTauri will incur a five-place grid penalty following a similar incident during the Dutch Grand Prix. Valtteri Bottas, driving for Alfa Romeo, has been assigned a 15-place grid penalty.
