Ukrainian forces have reclaimed over 700 square kilometers of territory in the Kharkiv region, according to Ukrainian General of the General Staff, Colonel General Oleksii Hryhorov. Brigadier General Oleksii Groom stated that during the ongoing operation, Ukrainian forces had penetrated up to fifty kilometers into Russian positions on occupied territories and recaptured more than 20 villages in the Kharkiv region. The total area reclaimed by Ukraine in the direction of Kharkiv and the Southern Bug is reported to be over 700 square kilometers.

Ukrainian forces have also advanced up to three kilometers on the Slavyansk front and recaptured the village of Ozerne. The use of Turkish Bayraktar drones has been noted, with Ukrainian officials stating that unprotected enemy infantry and motorized infantry are vulnerable to the drones, which are increasingly supplied through volunteer efforts. Reports circulating on social media indicate Ukrainian forces have taken control of Shevchenkov and are approaching Khrushchevka, located 2 kilometers from Kupyansk in the occupied Russian region.

Vitaliy Hanchev, appointed by Moscow as the mayor of the Russian-occupied Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, reported the evacuation of women and children due to heavy shelling from Ukraine. Simultaneously, Ukrainian military are conducting a counterattack in the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, aiming to reclaim territory from Russian forces. Ukrainian officials have claimed the recapture of cities, though specific figures have not been disclosed.
