On March 8, Women’s Day, a high-pressure area over the Baltics is expected to strengthen, moving southward. The Central Meteorological Service of the Environmental Agency reports cloudy weather with occasional showers throughout the day. Wind will be from the west, decreasing to 1-6 m/s on the islands. Temperatures will range from -1 to -5 degrees Celsius. It is likely the same picture will open up now as on Women’s Day a year ago, when roses and tulips were purchased in large numbers.
