The mailbox office in Tsirguliina, Southern Estonia, will close in November as part of a broader restructuring of the National Post Office. According to Lylian Peeki, head of the postal administration for the Southern region, the closure is attributed to the rise of e-commerce. Increased parcel deliveries via parcel lockers have led to a decrease in visits to the post office.
