The Tax Office announced today, March 31, 2021, the deadline for the payment of the first installment of land tax is 8:44 PM. The initial installment, totaling up to €64, is due today. The remaining land tax, amounting to more than €64, is payable by March 31, with a minimum payment of €64. The remaining portion of the tax is due by October 1. A total of 322,834 legal and natural persons are obligated to pay €59.1 million in land tax, which will be allocated to local government budgets. Taxpayers can access their land tax bills through the e-MTA system. The Tax Office advises taxpayers who have inadvertently missed a payment deadline to utilize e-MTA to request a postponement.
