In Kiviõli, Estonia, the houses located at 6 and 8 Sov Street were demolished in 2016. The buildings contained seven and nine apartments, respectively, which were privately owned. The owners of these apartments remain unidentified within the Livadus parish.

Photographs taken by Tiina Vaselo document the demolition. Following the destruction of the houses, housing cooperatives were established. These cooperatives did not materialize as intended.

Currently, the state is requiring the cooperatives to provide general meeting decisions and financial reports spanning three years, threatening potential fines for non-compliance.
