Robert Johnson, the son of Lemmik Poeg, brought a wild animal into his home on July 19, 2023. Misty Johnson was filming when her son, Robert, entered the room requesting his mother not to be angry. He approached his mother, carrying a wild badger, and said, “Mom, I found someone, but don’t get angry.” He attempted to convince his mother that the badger was small and would not bite. “I want to keep him,” he stated, while simultaneously holding the badger. However, his mother immediately ordered him to take the animal back outside, stating, “This is not a domestic animal.” The encounter occurred in the yard near the trash bins, where wild badgers are commonly found.
