Unidentified Drone Remains Found in Rēzekne Region

The Latvian Police reported on Wednesday the discovery of the remains of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a drone, in the Silmala village of the Rēzekne region. The incident was reported by a local resident who contacted the emergency services via the 112 number. According to the police statement to LETA, the resident alerted authorities to the presence of the drone remains located within the village.
