The number of South Korean typhoon victims climbed to ten by September 7, 2022, at 07:46, as a result of the effects of the typhoon. Extensive flooding caused damage to over 12,000 homes and buildings. Almost 90,000 households and businesses experienced power outages across the country, but most of these issues were resolved by Wednesday morning.

Seven individuals were found dead in a flooded underground parking lot of a residential complex in Pohang, a port city in South Korea’s southeast. Prior to the typhoon’s arrival, authorities closed more than 600 schools nationwide as a precautionary measure. Airline companies canceled approximately 250 domestic flights.
