The Saarte Hääle development center will offer free consultations to apartment associations in Saaremaa beginning in May 2021. The consultations will cover topics including service conditions, loan options, and guarantor requirements for development projects. During these sessions, participants will receive information on suitable services, necessary documentation, and application submission procedures. A consultant from the development center will assist with completing and submitting applications. “In recent years, the needs and opportunities for renovating apartment buildings in Saaremaa have significantly increased,” stated Triin Reinsalu, head of the housing and energy efficiency department of KredEx. “In the past five years, a few dozen apartment buildings have received support from the cooperative, but the interest in using both existing and new services is much higher.” Rainer Paenurk, managing director of the development center, noted that feedback and prior experience indicate a strong demand for advice and assistance. “We have assessed the need for repair in the region in cooperation with KredEx, and we feel the region’s problems and opportunities are a great advantage for raising awareness among the cooperative,” he added.
