The Employment Service of Estonia increased benefits effective January 1, 2023, following a review of unemployment insurance provisions. The daily amount of the employment benefit has been increased to 10.55 euros, with the 31-fold amount now totaling 327.05 euros. This change automatically applies to all existing benefit recipients and does not require any new applications.

This year, unemployed individuals are permitted to engage in part-time work while actively seeking employment, allowing for continued professional activity. The maximum level-learning benefit has also been adjusted to 327.05 euros per month for those undergoing skills training. New unemployment insurance benefits are in effect, including a daily rate of 78.55 euros for the first 31 calendar days and 52.37 euros per day thereafter, totaling 1623.47 euros for 31 days.

The Employment Service of Estonia confirmed that the minimum unemployment insurance benefit remains at 10.90 euros daily, or 337.90 euros for 31 calendar days, representing gross amounts.
