The Department of Health has assessed the quality of bathing water at several beaches in Estonia. Evaluations were based on control samples collected over the last four bathing seasons. Water quality at both beaches on the Emajõgi River was classified as very good. However, the bathing area at the Anne Canal was classified as poor.
