A customer at the Abija-Paluoja gas station reported discrepancies in fuel purchases. In the first instance, the fuel dispenser provided 5.41 liters of fuel for 10 euros, despite the customer stating that five liters should have been dispensed. A second purchase resulted in 7.49 euros being charged to the customer’s account, while the display indicated a purchase cost of 10 euros.

Investigators examined the scene, noting a can used at the station was not a calibrated measuring vessel and its label was not reliable. The receipt provided no clarification regarding the fuel volume delivered. Both transactions involved the purchase of fuel in euros.
