♪ Listen 0:00 Viljandi Celebrates 739th Anniversary with Multiple Events in September Viljandi, Estonia – The city of Viljandi will host a series of events from September 9-11 to commemorate its 739th anniversary. Activities will be centered around the city center and include a long table party on Koidu Street, offering residents a picnic with sweets. The Viljandi city stadium will serve as the venue for the 1st Women's European Championship of the Women’s National League, featuring matches between JK Tulevik and Suure-Jaani United ÜN (N) versus Tartu JK Tammeka (N). Additionally, several film screenings will take place at Tallinna tänav 22, including “Gulliver’s Return,” “Apteeker Melchior. Visions,” “Marmaduke,” “Where do the fall guys go,” “Handlers 2,” “Three thousand years of longing,” “The irony of fate in American style,” “After. Long and happy,” and “Orb: the first victim.” Throughout September, exhibitions will be held at the Sakala Center (until September 16), City Gallery (until September 14), Kondase Center (until September 18), Museum (until September 24), and the Cultural Academy (until September 17).
