Despite lingering cool nights, the first signs of spring are emerging in gardens across Estonia. Ago Helemäe, owner of a forest garden, reported that the first spring heralds are bringing the initial flowers to bloom, even with temperatures still experiencing plus degrees and occasional dips below freezing. This year, Helemäe plans to incorporate food plants alongside the flowers within the garden.
