The Estonian Ornithological Society invites interested parties to observe migratory birds during the Easter weekend. The event, taking place between April 16th and 17th, 2022, is organized by the Estonian Ornithological Society. Participants are encouraged to identify familiar bird species and learn about new ones. Observations can be recorded within a chosen timeframe, either at home or during a longer walk. Data collected through the Legulus application, the PlutoF data management environment, or traditional postal mail to the Estonian Ornithological Society at Veski 4, Tartu 51005, Tartumaa, will be used. These observations contribute to the annual Easter bird watching event, which began in 1998. The purpose is to raise awareness of arriving migratory birds and facilitate their identification.
