Säde and Tuul Sepp Photo: Erakogu / Andre Taal / Mihkel Lappmaa Säde Sepp is a first-year undergraduate who received the Young Conservationist Award last spring for his conservation activities. He won last year’s student history research competition with a paper on the ethnology of flowing water bodies and represents young people in the Supilinna Society’s board. In this article, Säde interviews Tartu University’s professor of animal ecology Tuul Seppa (and Tuul interviews Säde as well).

Tuul and Säde will both be attending the “Environmental Communication” course at Tartu University this spring, one as a lecturer and the other as a student. At home, however, they are a mother and daughter who share a deep interest in the changes taking place in society and conservation.
