Rescue workers dealt with a carbon monoxide and soot fire

The rescue effort was deployed on Tuesday, January 18, 2023, at 08:10, in response to a fire in Rakvere and Kihlevere. The initial incident occurred in Kihlevere village, located in the Kadrina district. At 19:03, rescue personnel arrived at the village following a signal from a gas detector.

Upon investigation, there was a small amount of smoke present in the house, and the rooms were ventilated. Residents were advised to utilize the detector. The rescue effort had previously visited the same property several days prior due to the installation of a working gas detector.
