Chairman of the Centre Party, Juha Ratas, announced plans to visit Narva, Estonia, and meet with citizens and local Centrists. “The Centre Party remains in Narva. It does not lower its flag there.

On the contrary, soon there will be elections in the Riigikogu, and I believe that we have an important role in uniting society in Estonia,” Ratas stated following the party’s board meeting. The meeting also addressed the expulsion of Riigikogu and Narva City Assembly deputy, Mikhail Stalnukhin, from the party. The Narva District Centre Party Board expressed a desire for Stalnukhin to remain a member, citing his criticism of the relocation of Soviet monuments, which characterized state leaders as “fascists.”
