The Tallinn Music and Ballet School will host a festive award ceremony on Saturday evening recognizing outstanding achievements in Estonian architecture. Sixteen architects and architectural objects will be honored by the Estonian Cultural Endowment, the Estonian Architects’ Union, the Estonian Association of Landscape Architects, the Estonian Association of Architects, and the architecture magazine MAJA. The Estonian Cultural Endowment will present four architecture awards, including its top prize, selected by a jury comprised of architects Peeter Pere and Kai Süda, designers Tõnis Vellama, Marit Ilison, and Kristjan Mändmaa, and architectural historians Epp Lankots and Mait Väljas.

Nominees for the award included Eik Hermann for his work promoting the architectural idea of the Nature Villa Käbi; Tõnu Tunnel for his work on the same villa; Nature Villa Käbi (Mari Hunt, Arvi Anderson (b210 architects)); Nature Villa Poku (Ott Kadarik, Aleksei Petrov, Mihkel Tüür (KTA)); interior architects Kadri Tamme, Ahti Grünberg, Kadi Karmann, Mari Põld, Ardo Hiiuväin, Kärt Hollo, Merje Karu (T43 interior architects)); Katrin Talvik, Markus Kaasik, Hanna-Liisa Mõtus (3+1 interior architects)); landscape architect Markus Kaasik, Helina Lass, Hanna-Liisa Mõtus, Siim Tiisvelt (3+1 interior architects)); and Edgar Kaare, Laura Männamaa (TajuRuum). Additionally, the exhibition and book «Rutiin ja plahvatus. Siim.Kreis.Ausing» curated by Triin Ojari and compiled by Karin Paulus, Triin Ojari, with exhibition space design by Raul Kalvo, Triin Kampus, and graphic design by Jan Tomson, as well as the exhibition «Glass Masters» featuring interior architecture by Anne Määrmann, Kristi Prinzmann (Bob&Doko), curated by Anne Ruussaar, and graphic design by Marje and Martin Eelma (Tuumik Stuudio), were also recognized.
