A fire broke out at the Makita warehouse and office building construction site in Laager, near Tallinn, at approximately 5:00 PM today. The fire was initiated by YIT Estonia. As the blaze progressed, gas cylinders used for roofing operations exploded, prompting firefighters to escalate the response to a higher-level emergency.
