Enno Raun, aged 87, has left a notable mark on the cultural history of Saaremaa, recognized as both a woodworker and an amateur actor. Enno began painting in his youth, developing a collection of approximately thirty pictures, primarily landscapes. He recalls that drawing was the only subject he consistently excelled in during his schooling, achieving top marks – “five-point grade” – while others received lower evaluations.

His contributions to the island’s cultural landscape have not been formally quantified.
