Pension funds invested 643 million euros in Estonia by the end of the second quarter of this year, totaling 5.1 billion euros in assets managed within the country. According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this represents a decrease of 2.58 percentage points or 49 million euros in the volume of assets invested in pension funds in Estonia over the past year. In the second quarter of the previous year, 15.09 percent of the total pension funds were invested in Estonia, while in the second quarter of this year, that figure rose to 16.35 percent, according to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s analysis.
