Currently, one of the few remaining remnants of Soviet commemorative days – International Women’s Day – has taken on a slightly different meaning for us, differing from the time when men attempted to remain sober and appear at the door with flowers and cake. For one day, women are recognized and thanked, and their roles as mothers, colleagues, and partners are remembered. This is a pleasant custom.
