Eesti Laskesuusataja Kretel Kaljumäe Concludes MK Debut at Otepää Otepää, Estonia – Twenty-year-old Estonian skier Kretel Kaljumäe concluded his inaugural participation in a Men’s and Women’s Biathlon World Cup event today, marking his MK debut at the Otepää stage. Kaljumäe finished 89th in the women’s 7.5km sprint. The race began with a moderate performance from the young eesti laskesuusataja. He successfully completed all targets in the first shooting range. However, a single missed shot in the second range resulted in a one-lap penalty. Kaljumäe ultimately finished 89th, trailing the victorious Frenchwoman Julia Simon by 3.59.9 seconds.
