♪ Listen 0:00 Latvian health authorities reported 1,200 new Covid-19 cases on September 7, 2022, according to data from Apollo.lv. A total of 4,182 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the new cases, 524 were individuals who were not vaccinated or had not completed vaccination courses, while 676 were vaccinated. One report indicated a deceased person, aged 80-89, who was also not vaccinated or had not completed vaccination courses. The positivity rate for tests conducted was 28.7%. The 14-day cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants is 558.5. To date, 904,090 people in Latvia have been confirmed as having Covid-19.
