Estonian laws regarding the regulation of real estate agents require modification, according to Kaie Kass Agcay, chair of the Real Estate Agents’ Chamber. Speaking at an international real estate conference in Tallinn, Agcay stated that current regulations allow individuals to operate as a real estate agent without sufficient training or preparation. She expressed concern that this lack of standardized qualifications could negatively impact the reputation of the real estate profession.
