A single handful of soil containing tree roots can harbor a vast number of bacteria, exceeding the global human population. People are often able to notice and observe elements of the environment that are readily visible or tangible. This includes large trees, conifers, and spruces.

Individuals can see deer, rabbits, and insects within these ecosystems. Furthermore, observations extend to marine life such as whales, fish schools, and birds. Recognizing the significance of these larger organisms is undoubtedly important.

However, the most substantial portion of Earth’s biomass is comprised of plants, many of which are either visible or directly accessible to people.
