The Eurohoops basketball portal recently compiled a list of players who impressed at the Euroleague Final Tournament but did not qualify for the group stage. The list, featuring eight players, highlighted Kerr Kriisa among the Estonians. Kriisa, 21, captained the Estonian team, which arrived in Milan with limited expectations in the C-group.

Despite losses to Ukraine (73:74) and Croatia (70:73), and subsequent departure from Berlin, Kriisa stood out with 10.8 points and 5.8 assists per game during the tournament. Most of his passes were directed to Maik-Kalev Kotsari. Other players noted on the list included Sasha Vezenkov and Dee Bost (Bulgaria), Sandro Mamukelashvili (Georgia), Jusuf Nurkic and Dzanan Musa (Bosnia), Deni Avdija (Israel), and Worthy De Jong (Netherlands).

  1. It’s disappointing that Kriisa and Estonia couldn’t secure a group spot, but her performance was certainly noteworthy.

  2. What were Kerr Kriisa’s specific contributions that led to her inclusion on the Eurohoops list?
