The XXVII Summer Festival “Music of Seven Cities” featured the “Nesterov Trio,” a popular jazz group from Cyprus, performing in Kohtla-Järve on Saturday, July 12. The performance concluded the “Music on the Water” festival at the Kohtla-Järve People’s Park. A warm evening, illuminated by the light from a newly installed fountain in the park lake, provided the backdrop for the concert. The audience responded enthusiastically, applauding and dancing throughout the performance. Rain ultimately prompted the musicians to conclude their set early. Prior to the concert, Leonid Nesterov, the group’s leader, expressed his happiness at returning to Kohtla-Järve after 22 years.
