Finnish accordionist and composer Kimmo Pohjonen recently concluded a series of performances in Narva, Estonia, featuring both familiar and newly composed pieces. The musician, known for his distinctive playing style and extensive musical journeys, has cultivated a strong following in Estonia. In an interview with the Postimees newspaper, Pohjonen acknowledged the reciprocal affection he holds for the country.

“Just as Estonians love me, I love Estonia, and Estonia has also inspired me in recent times,” he stated. Pohjonen expressed a frequent return to Estonia, joking that he is beginning to consider purchasing property there. The interview was conducted in English.
