Verner Vilgas, a camera man and assembler at ERR Pärnu studio in Estonia, participated in the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics for three weeks. Vilgas, who has previously filmed events including those in Maidan, Ukraine, and presidential visits, worked as part of the Olympic broadcast team. The assignment required him to assemble and operate a drone in Italy.

According to Vilgas, the three-week period was demanding, and the local cuisine, particularly pizza, became less appealing over time. Vilgas resides in Tori, a village near Kõrsa.
