The number of passengers traveling between islands by sea increased by three percent in August, according to statistics released by TS Laevad, the company that operates ferry services. A total of 328,431 people utilized the services during the month. The Virtsu-Kuivastu route accounted for 229,913 passengers, while the Rohuküla-Heltermaa route served 98,518 passengers.
