Teachers who moved from Ida-Virumaa are successfully establishing themselves in Estonian-speaking regions. The Pärnu Postimees recently visited Narva and Sillamäe to document the experiences of educators who have relocated from their original home region. Anu Alloja, a second-grade Natural Science teacher at the Narva Language School, came to work in Narva three years ago after previously working in Pärnu. The transition for teachers who moved is progressing positively, and investigations into the lives of these individuals in the predominantly Russian-speaking cities are ongoing.
