A large sandfall has occurred within the Taevaskoja Emalätte cave in the Sunny Eastern region. Reporter Mati Määrits was present at the time of the incident. According to observations by Taevaskoja village elder Ahti Bleive, a significant amount of sand collapsed from the cave’s roof, exposing rock formations that have been in place for approximately 400 million years. Bleive stated that the cave’s expansion is currently unsustainable and may be influenced by natural processes, potentially leading to the formation of a ravine within the gorge.
