GALERII⟩Põlva uue kunstigalerii avanäitus on naistepäevahõnguline

Põlva uue kunstigalerii avanäituse keskendub naiste teemasse. Mati Määrits, Põlva Postimees, raportöör, teatab 8. märts 2026, kell 18:21, et Põlva on taas saanud alalise kunstigalerii, mille avanäitus on Elisa Ritsingu «Neitsi 13 nägu».

The exhibition, timed for International Women’s Day, showcases the work of Elisa Ritsing. The opening exhibition of the new art gallery will be held at the Põlva Culture Centre, formerly a workshop, where exhibitions have previously been held during the summer months. According to Culture Centre Director Eerika Mark, the space lacked adequate heating and lighting to function as a proper gallery.

Last year, the Põlvamaa Partnership Council provided support for KuKe Creative Centre, a move that has led to the utilization of the former city hall premises. “This space now offers a significantly different atmosphere,” Mark stated. The gallery is currently located in the council chamber, which has been transformed to create a distinct environment.
