September 10th, 2022: Events Across Võrumaa A series of events are scheduled across Võrumaa on September 10th and 11th, encompassing sporting competitions, cultural activities, and community gatherings. On September 10th, events include a track and field day at Tõrva Gymnasium, a motorsport event at Tehvandi Sports Centre, a library-organized summer reading conclusion in Valga, and a folk performance in Mehkäe. The day also features a theatre performance in Sillamäe, a concert by Alen Veziko at Taagepera Castle, and various evening events in multiple locations, including Riidaja Cultural House and Võru Sports Centre. September 11th continues the schedule with markets in Antsla and Otepää, kettle golf championships at Tõrva and Valgamaa, a commemoration of Grandparents’ Day at Võru Kandles, and numerous sporting events including international volleyball tournaments at Võru Sports Centre and a junior football match in Valga. Events also include orienteering courses in Otepää and Tartu, a street cleaning competition in Räpina, and a performance of “Three Offers” in Valga. Gutmann International Võru Volleyball Tournament continues at Võru Sports Centre. These events are taking place across various locations including the Estonian Road Museum, Kindral Reegi House, and numerous cultural houses and sports centres throughout Võrumaa.
