Currently, one of the few remaining Soviet commemorative days – International Women’s Day – has become somewhat different in our context, differing from the time when men attempted to become sober and appear at the door with flowers and cake. Over the course of one day, women are recognized, thanked, and reminded of their roles as mothers, colleagues, and partners. This is a pleasant custom.
