Road maintenance workers in Saaremaa successfully preserved flowering hedges this week, according to a photograph submitted to the editor. The photo depicts a collection of flowering plants growing along a roadside. However, the flowering was subsequently cut down the following day due to the presence of an uncultivated weed species.

“Maybe sometimes we should close our eyes to the standards and share the flowering that we already have,” said the photo’s creator, Margus. The day’s events centered around the preservation of the flowering plants.
