Starship, a company developing autonomous pickup robots, announced investments totaling $100 million over the past 30 days. The company’s focus is on establishing routes to major cities in the United States and Europe. In late January, Starship revealed a $50 million loan from the European Investment Bank. Yesterday, the company also announced an additional $38 million investment from investors during a B-series funding round. The investments were led by Taavet Hinrikus, who has previously invested millions of euros in the company. Starship was founded by Carl-Robert Puhm, Sten Tamkivi, and Hinrikus.
