Territory police in the Northern Territory have issued warnings regarding snakes and crocodiles following extensive flooding. More than one thousand people have been evacuated to shelters due to the widespread inundation. Heavy rains across the territory over the weekend caused the worst flooding since 1998, with the city of Katherine experiencing particularly severe conditions. A crocodile was recently sighted in the Adelaide River.
