Police initiated an investigation on October 13, 2023, at 18:39, concerning one driver following a traffic accident involving two vehicles. At 17:05, emergency services responded to a report of a collision between a Seat car and a Volkswagen car on the 17.8 km stretch of the Vooreküla-Reola highway near Põlva. Both drivers were sober, and there were no injuries.
