Literary critic Aivar Kulli’s new book, “August Gailiti,” is the culmination of years dedicated to researching the life and work of the Estonian writer. The book features a portrait of Gailiti by Eduard Ole from 1932, which is held by the Estonian Art Museum. Kulli began his extensive study of Gailiti in 1991 with an initial article, continued with a detailed reading of Gailiti’s work in 1999, and then undertook deeper research starting in 2012.
