A trip to Orissaare is a trip for wheelchair fishing enthusiasts

The Piidivabrik Family Piidivabrik NGO is implementing improvements at the Orissaare harbor to accommodate disabled fishermen. The organization aims to create recreational fishing conditions for individuals with special needs. Construction is underway on a pier, featuring a 4.5-meter wooden fence, 90 centimeters in height, to prevent individuals using wheelchairs from entering the water.

A table with a rail will be installed on the fence to secure items placed upon it. The project is taking place at the Orissaare bus stop. The initiative is being driven by the NGO’s desire to provide accessible fishing opportunities, and is expected to facilitate a trip for disabled fishermen.
